Using Athanly

Athanly provides the Athanly app and website. For support or questions about these terms, contact contact@athanly.app. Using Athanly means accepting these terms, subject to your mandatory legal rights.

The iPhone app is licensed under Apple’s Standard End User License Agreement. These terms explain the service alongside that licence. Your personal records remain yours. Use the app lawfully; do not interfere with its services or attempt unauthorized access.

Prayer times and personal guidance

Prayer times depend on your location, calculation settings, adjustments or selected published timetable. Qibla depends on location and sensor accuracy. Islamic dates can differ from local moon-sighting decisions. Check your settings and follow your mosque or a trusted qualified scholar when needed.

Insight, educational references and Zakat tools support personal reflection and record keeping. They do not determine religious obligations or provide a fatwa, medical diagnosis or professional financial advice. Metal quotes can be delayed or unavailable. A Sadaqah entry records a gift; Athanly does not collect or distribute donations.

Alarms, Focus and availability

Reminders, alarms, widgets and Prayer Focus depend on your device, permissions, settings and Apple services. They can be delayed or interrupted. Use an additional reminder when missing an alert would matter. Prayer Focus is a personal distraction tool, not an emergency or parental-monitoring service.

Features vary by app version, device, region and subscription. Apple Health and AI Insights are optional connections; sleep comparisons describe observations rather than medical conclusions. AI summaries can be imperfect. Review the underlying records before relying on a summary.

Athanly+ subscriptions

Free features are available without an Athanly account. Athanly+ adds subscription features. Apple’s purchase confirmation shows the plan, billing period, price and any trial. Prices and availability vary by storefront. Make purchases only with the Apple Account owner’s permission.

Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled. Apple may process renewal during the 24 hours before the current period ends. Cancel at least 24 hours before a period or trial ends to avoid renewal. Manage subscriptions in the app or your Apple Account settings. Deleting Athanly does not cancel a subscription.

Use Restore in the app for eligible purchases on the same Apple Account. Access follows verified App Store entitlement status. If Athanly+ ends, your local history and available export, deletion and recovery tools remain accessible. Apple handles payments and refund requests, subject to applicable consumer rights.

Records and private iCloud sync

You control entries and exported files. Protect sensitive exports and keep appropriate backups. Storage or sync cannot guarantee recovery after deletion, corruption, device loss or account changes.

Supported Athanly+ builds can automatically enable private iCloud sync on first membership unless you previously chose otherwise. Manage sync and categories in Settings. Sync is not a separate backup. Turning it off retains existing cloud copies; record deletions propagate when the affected category next syncs. See the Privacy Policy for details.

Privacy and other services

The Privacy Policy explains local history, permissions, iCloud, on-device AI, automatic limited analytics and diagnostics, service requests and support. Apple and other providers operate their own services under their applicable terms.

Your rights, updates and support

Apple’s Standard EULA and applicable law govern licence, warranty and liability. Nothing here excludes a statutory guarantee, remedy, refund right or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded. Mandatory consumer protections where you live continue to apply.

We may update Athanly or its features for compatibility, reliability and development. Material changes to paid services remain subject to applicable consumer law. Updated terms appear here with an effective date; material changes will be communicated where required. Contact contact@athanly.app if something goes wrong so we can help.
